Our comprehensive business and financial literacy workshop series, AGAware ®, is designed to promote and educate the next generation of Young, Beginning, Small, or Minority (YBSM) Farmers like you. Learn more about our program benefits and how to sign up for a workshop below.

What to Expect from AGAware ® 

AGAware ® equips YBSM Farmers with the skills they need to begin to build a business plan, improve their existing plan, or analyze their cash flows to make their current operation more profitable. Our one-day, seven-hour workshops address a variety of topics pertinent to up-and-coming farmers, including budget preparation, personal finance, risk management, succession planning, and more.

If you have a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Direct Loan, you can earn your USDA FSA Direct Borrower Education Certification through the AGAware program, which is required for FSA Direct Loan recipients.

Our AGAware workshops are free of charge, are from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., and lunch is provided on-site.  Register for an AGAware workshop today!
