Mr. Dilday grew up in Ahoskie, NC and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from North Carolina State University. He started his banking career in 2011 doing primarily row crop loans and then moved to poultry farm and ranch focused lending upon moving to Georgia. Nathan lives in Cornelia with his wife Tricia and their 7 year old son, Max.
Mr. Dilday looks forwardto using his banking and agricultural experience to service the needs of residents of Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, Lumpkin and White Counties.

AgGeorgia Farm Credit is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Whitfield as a Credit Officer in our Royston office. Mr. Whitfield grew up in Elbert County and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture for Agribusiness from the University of Georgia. He comes from a multi-generational farm family and grew up spending time on his grandparents’ farms raising cattle and goats. He also assisted his brother with his beekeeping business, Brother’s Bees.
Ryan looks forwardto using his agricultural knowledge and experience to service the needs of residents of Banks, Clarke, Elbert, Franklin, Hart, Madison & Stephens Counties.
AgGeorgia Farm Credit Announces Hiring of Relationship Manager in Cordele
AgGeorgia Farm Credit is pleased to announce the hiring of Tamara Shrable as a Relationship Manager. Mrs. Shrable has 13 years of lending and managerial experieince and has practical experience concerning row crops, produce, livestock, and poultry. Her lending background and knowledge of agriculture has well prepared her for this role. She is looking forward to using her financing experience to meet the agricultural needs of the residents in Crisp, Dooly, and Wilcox counties.
Mrs. Shrable resides in Crisp County with her husband, Beau, and son, Brock.
AgGeorgia Farm Credit Announces Distribution of Over $12.5 Million to Borrowers
AgGeorgia Farm Credit is pleased to announce that over $12.5 million is being paid to borrowers of the cooperative, with checks expected to be delivered by the last week of June. The distribution comes after AgGeorgia’s Board of Directors already declared dividends of over $13.5 million in April, with over $4 million of that paid in cash. In total for 2019, AgGeorgia has now distributed over $16.5 million in cash to the borrowers of the cooperative.
“We are extremely proud to be able to return our profits to our borrowers, particularly after a challenging 2018 for our farmers and much of the state,” said Guy Daughtrey, Chairman of the Board for AgGeorgia Farm Credit. “The board recognizes how important these distributions are to not only our member-borrowers, but also the economies of our rural communities.”
2019 marks the 31st consecutive year the cooperative has returned profits to its borrowers, with over $378 million in cash being paid out since 1988.
The payout is a surplus revolvement from AgGeorgia’s 2009 and 2010 Patronage Refunds, and is divided between qualified and non-qualified surplus. Taxes were paid on the qualified surplus portions when declared in 2009/2010; however no taxes have been paid yet on the non-qualified portion. Borrowers will receive a 1099 in February of next year regarding income taxes due on this portion.

Perry, GA - AgGeorgia Farm Credit is pleased to announce the hiring of Breyahna (Bre) Pinkneyas Senior Information Systems Assistant in our Perry Office. Mrs. Pinkney received her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and has previous IT experience in the financial industry. Originally from Sumter, South Carolina, Bre has lived in the Houston County area nearly her entire life and currently resides there with her husband, Dion.
AgGeorgia Farm Credit to Distribute Over $13 Million to Membership
Perry, Ga. (March 25, 2019) – AgGeorgia Farm Credit, a Georgia based agricultural lending cooperative, announced today that dividends totaling $13,572,002 have been declared by its Board of Directors, with receipt by members anticipated the first week of April.
“With so many of our members still recovering from the weather events of last year, it is a great pleasure for our board and staff to be able to return our profits to our membership,” said AgGeorgia CEO Jack Drew.
This marks the 31st consecutive year the cooperative has returned profits to its members through its Patronage Refund Program, with nearly $365 million in cash being paid out since 1988. The refund, from 2018 earnings, consists of more than $4 million in cash and over $9.5 million in allocated surplus, with the surplus portion to be used to maintain the capital position of the cooperative and returned to members at a later date.
“The patronage refund reduces our members’ cost of borrowing considerably, this year lowering the average member’s stated rate by 1.47%,” said AgGeorgia’s CFO Carrie McCall. “For every dollar of interest expense accrued by our borrowers in our general portfolio in 2018, 25 cents is being paid back to them.”
